|| Clockwork Prince, Cassandra Clare ||

"Sunday is the golden clasp that bings together the volume of the week."
After a long evening with a good book, i spent my sunday sleeping in - which partly was because I only got four hours of sleep the night before, and then had to go to work in the morning. The picture below is why that happend! - Em had a birthday party, and we of course had to go out. Even if you are sober the whole night, your body does not like you after only four hours in the bed! But then saturday I stayed in with Cassandra Clares' book "Clockwork Prince", instead of going out with some other friends - oh how responsible I can be at times! So today I havn't been doing much, other than an hour in the gym. Tonight I am going to the cinema to watch "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" with Maria and Camilla, who are two of my good girlfriends.
Take care

It's spring!
With all the winter and snow we have  in Denmark, spring is always my favorite time of year, beacuse of all the love and joy buzzing around in the air. So of course I needed a new pair of sunglasses! (I broke my old ones anyway, like every pair of sunglasses I have ever owned..) The last week haven't been that exiting, but I did pay to become a member of the local gym (other than the spinning classes I take twice a week) - So now there is no excuse not to be ready for the bikini season!  I haven't had time to read much lately, but I will catch up on that tonight - right now I am reading "The Clockwork Prince" by Cassandra Clare, which is taking me a bit longer than usual, but I seem to have stuff to do all the time. It's an amazing book, and I'm crazy about Cassandra Clare's characters.
Take care!

3.s

To something a little less serious! I wanted to show you a picture from my everyday life, so I'm showing you a "chaos-picture" of my class, taken the other day. It's supposed to look like a huge fight, but most of all it just lives up to the word "chaos". We are 31 students in my class (studying English and Social Studies) and in just some months we are going to graduate!

Lathronniel

Today I want to share the story of Lathronniel, since my blog is called lathronniel.blogspot.com :-) Above you can see Feanorian letters spelling the name, and as a bonus info, I'm currently playing with the thought of getting that tattooed just over my heart, under my left breast. Anyway! First of all, Feanorian is Elvish Tengwar (and yes, I'm a Lord of the Rings fan) - Lathronniel is the elvish name for Simone, or "the hearing". So why would I want to have some elvish tattooed on my body? Well, Lathronniel is a part of me, and I see her as a person. When I was 15 years old, I was living in a boarding school, and had a depression. At that time of my life I started reading a lot while isolating myself, but i also started to be the person I am today - in that part of my life, Lathronniel appeared, and she helped me out of my depression. Since then she is with me every day, not like some skitzofrenic thing in my mind, but as a reminder that I should stay true to myself and that I'm able to live out my dream, no matter what anyone says.
- Thank you for reading,

My dream

In my first real post I want to show you my dream, or at least some of it. I'm not into all that minimalistic home design, instead i'm into a more old-fashioned style with books and interiors from all over the world. I really want to tell a story with the home I am going to live in, and I want it to be personal, rather than just look like any other modern house. I'm a very cosy person, who like to cuddle up on a couch with books or a paper and a pen - and since I'm not the biggest social person you will find, my home has to be a place where I can feel comfortable, because I will be spending most of my day there (since the biggest dream of my life is to be a writer) - this "perfect house" also has a perfect location: either the English countryside, or somewhere in the beautiful New Zealand.
Take care

Welcome

Where to start? - well, first of all: Welcome!
Why did I make this blog? Basically I was in the mood for sharing my thoughts, and since I read a lot of blogs myself, then why not?
I will share info about myself as the blog evolve, but to start with you can get the basics: My name is Simone Christiansen, I'm 19 years old and I'm currently living in a small town called Bramming - in Denmark. This summer when i graduate from high school, I'm moving to Odense, to study English with the hopes of working in the publishing buisness or maybe one day become a writer myself.
Hopefully I won't bore you to death, but this is my life - my time and my dream.

Oh and here is a picture of me :-)
